The pediatric care unit at UPMC Hamot cares for acutely ill pediatric patients within a family centered care environment. The patient's ages range from infancy to eighteen years of age. The nurses are skilled pediatric nurses with trauma certification. This ensures that your children receive the care they need and that you receive the support of a knowledgeable nursing staff. The pediatric unit includes medical, surgical, orthopedic, urology, endocrinology, and trauma services for children.
